Support our Work!

Reveries

To everyone who supported from afar and joined us in person for Reveries on May 29th, we are deeply grateful!

You helped weave something magical, and through your support we raised essential funds to keep this work alive! Your presence, your energy and your friendship mean the world to us 🙂

Thank you to all the dancers, musicians, singers and poets for their beautiful sharings: Alyssa Amarshi, Kelly McInness, Rachel Helten, Ben Helten, Ezequiel Peralta, Tawahum Bige, Masha Shcherbyna & Alexandra Staseson!

Learn more about the artists, watch the video reel that was projected that night, see some photos of the night, and learn about what your support help us do here!

Thank you as well to everyone who bid in our silent auction, we’re so grateful you played with us and took part.

A heartfelt thank you to all the businesses and individuals who donated to the silent auction. It truly wouldn’t have been possible without your generosity!

If you missed it, there are still a few items left available through our online store 🙂

You can now support soma anima arts through your Recycling!

We’re excited to share a simple new way to support our work: you can now donate your Return-It recycling refunds directly to soma anima arts.

It’s easy, accessible, and a meaningful way to help sustain our artistic programs, community workshops, and creation processes… one container at a time!

How it works:

  1. Log-in to your account through the Return-It App (found on Google Play Store or the iOS App store) or visit https://app.return-it.ca.
Don’t have an account? Sign up for a free Return-It account at https://app.return-it.ca
  2. Donate to our organization using the following link: https://app.return-it.ca/somaanimaartskinesisdancesociety
You’ll have the option to set auto-donations or a one-time donation.
  3. Return all your empty beverage containers to a Return-It Express location, every container counts! Print your label, drop off your bags, and Return-It sends the refund straight to us.

Your everyday recycling can help fuel dance creation, community engagement, and the projects you believe in.

Thank you for supporting local art in such a thoughtful, sustainable way!

We acknowledge that the land we live, work, and create on is the stolen territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

This statement reflects a commitment to contributing to a more just, loving, and equitable world as we strive to learn from past mistakes, and move forward in a spirit of care, honoring the interconnectedness of land and community during this time of climate crisis and social injustice.
